Becker SV 300/1 3.0 kW Side Channel Blower
The Becker SV 300/1 3.0 kW is a balanced single-stage side channel blower that combines 325 m³/h nominal airflow with a useful increase in both vacuum and positive-pressure capability.
At 50 Hz it can operate to -265 mbar relative vacuum and +250 mbar positive pressure. At 60 Hz, the matching 3.60 kW motor increases nominal airflow to 390 m³/h, with maximum vacuum of -245 mbar and pressure of +230 mbar.
This gives the 3.00 kW version a broader operating window than the 2.20 kW configuration, making it suitable for systems where greater pipework resistance, holding force or conveying differential must be overcome.

Balanced Vacuum and Pressure Performance
The 3.00 kW SV 300/1 occupies the middle position within the standard fixed-speed SV 300/1 family. Its nominal volume flow remains 325 m³/h at 50 Hz, but the larger motor allows it to operate against significantly greater resistance than the 2.20 kW version.
This makes the blower useful for applications where a system must retain useful airflow while developing stronger suction or positive pressure. Examples include vacuum clamping, sheet handling through longer pipework, pneumatic conveying and process systems containing filters or restrictions.
Air is compressed aerodynamically as the impeller repeatedly accelerates it through the annular side channel. There is no mechanical rubbing contact within the compression chamber, and no lubricating oil is introduced into the process air.
The design therefore combines oil-free airflow with relatively low routine maintenance. Becker incorporates inlet and discharge silencers, sealed bearings and a pedestal arrangement with vibration isolation for straightforward machinery installation.
Because all SV 300/1 motor versions have the same nominal flow, the motor power should always be checked when identifying an installed unit. The model designation alone does not tell you the allowable pressure differential.
SV 300/1 3.0 kW Performance Data
At 60 Hz the associated motor rating is 3.60 kW and nominal airflow increases to 390 m³/h. Maximum vacuum and pressure differ slightly from the 50 Hz ratings.
| Frequency | Nominal Capacity | Maximum Vacuum | Maximum Pressure | Motor Power | Weight |
| 50 Hz | 325 m³/h | -265 mbar | +250 mbar | 3.00 kW | 44.5 kg |
| 60 Hz | 390 m³/h | -245 mbar | +230 mbar | 3.60 kW | 44.5 kg |

Features of the Becker SV 300/1 3.0 kW
Strong Mid-Range Differential
Provides up to -265 mbar vacuum or +250 mbar pressure at 50 Hz while retaining 325 m³/h nominal capacity.
Oil-Free Process Air
The dry-running compression chamber does not require lubricating oil, helping maintain clean airflow through the process.
Contact-Free Impeller
Pressure is generated by aerodynamic energy transfer rather than through contacting compression elements.
Built-In Silencing
Integrated inlet and discharge silencers help reduce installation complexity and operating sound.
Low Routine Maintenance
Sealed bearings and non-contact compression reduce the number of routine maintenance operations required.
Flexible Industrial Use
Suitable for both suction and positive-pressure applications across packaging, printing, conveying and general machinery.
Typical Uses for the SV 300/1 3.0 kW
The 3.0 kW configuration is a useful choice where a process combines relatively high airflow with moderate system resistance or holding requirements.
› Vacuum lifting and handling
› Vacuum clamping and fixtures
› Printing and paper handling
› Packaging equipment
› Automated production machinery
› Pneumatic conveying
› Blowing and process air
› Drying systems
› Cooling applications

Selecting the Correct SV 300/1 Motor Configuration
Vacuum Pumps UK can assist with the supply and identification of Becker SV 300/1 side channel blowers for both replacement and new applications.
If an SV 300/1 is already fitted to your machine, the motor rating should be included in any enquiry. The 2.20, 3.00 and 4.00 kW versions all provide 325 m³/h nominal capacity at 50 Hz, but each has a different permissible vacuum and pressure range.
For new equipment, provide the required airflow and the expected operating differential. It is also useful to tell us about filters, pipework length, process restrictions and whether the blower is being used on vacuum or positive pressure.
SV 300/1 Accessories and System Components
Accessories should be selected around the actual blower duty. Correct filtration protects the air path, while suitable relief devices can prevent excessive vacuum or pressure if operating conditions change.
Inlet Filters
Suitable filtration helps protect the impeller and internal airflow passages from dust, fibres and other contaminants.
Vacuum Relief
A correctly selected vacuum relief valve can prevent the inlet differential exceeding the blower’s permitted operating range.
Pressure Relief
Pressure relief provides protection against excessive discharge pressure if process resistance increases.
Connection Components
Flexible connections, non-return valves, silencers and pipework fittings can be incorporated into the blower installation.
Becker SV 300/1 Service, Repair and Spare Parts
Side channel blowers have fewer contacting compression components than rotary vane machines, but bearings, motors, seals and the external airflow system still require attention over the life of the installation.
A blower that becomes noisy, vibrates, runs unusually hot or no longer reaches the expected vacuum or pressure should be investigated. The cause may lie within the blower or elsewhere in the system, such as a blocked inlet filter, restricted pipework or unsuitable valve setting.
Vacuum Pumps UK can assess Becker side channel blowers and provide technical support, servicing and workshop repair.
Blower Service
Technical support and maintenance assistance for installed Becker SV side channel blowers.
Blower Repair
Workshop assessment of damaged, noisy or poorly performing blowers, including bearing and motor-related faults.

Becker SV 300/1 3.00 kW FAQs
What is the capacity of the Becker SV 300/1 3.00 kW?
Nominal volume flow is 325 m³/h at 50 Hz and 390 m³/h at 60 Hz.
What vacuum can the 3.00 kW model achieve?
Maximum relative vacuum is -265 mbar at 50 Hz and -245 mbar at 60 Hz.
What is its maximum pressure?
Maximum positive pressure is +250 mbar at 50 Hz and +230 mbar at 60 Hz.
How does it differ from the 2.20 kW SV 300/1?
The nominal airflow is the same, but the 3.00 kW configuration can operate against a considerably greater vacuum or pressure differential.
Is the SV 300/1 dry running?
Yes. The compression chamber operates without lubricating oil.
