What Is a Central Medical Vacuum System?

A central medical vacuum system creates and maintains vacuum for distribution through a healthcare facility’s dedicated medical vacuum pipeline.

Rather than relying on individual vacuum pumps at each point of use, the complete facility is supplied from a managed plant containing multiple pumps, a receiver tank, protective filtration, control equipment, monitoring devices and isolation valves.
