The Becker SV5.190/2 occupies a different performance position from the lower-flow SV5.130/2. Its 100 m³/h nominal capacity provides greater air volume, while maximum differential is -275 mbar on vacuum and +290 mbar on pressure.
This balance can be useful where an industrial process needs more airflow while still requiring considerably greater differential than a basic air mover. The similar vacuum and pressure figures also make the SV5.190/2 adaptable to machinery operating on either side of the blower.
Air is accelerated repeatedly within the side channel system, with the two-stage configuration providing successive regenerative action before discharge. This enables the blower to build useful differential while maintaining continuous airflow.
The compression mechanism operates without rubbing carbon vanes and does not require oil within the process-air chamber.
As with all side channel blowers, nominal capacity and maximum differential are not simultaneous operating values. The actual airflow available depends upon the vacuum or pressure at the system working point and the resistance of the complete installation.
