Becker SV 130/1 1.10 kW Side Channel Blower
The Becker SV 130/1 1.10 kW combines the compact SV 130/1 single-stage blower design with increased vacuum and positive-pressure capability for more demanding industrial airflow duties.
At 50 Hz, nominal capacity remains 130 m³/h while the 1.10 kW motor allows operation to -210 mbar relative vacuum or +210 mbar positive pressure. At 60 Hz, the corresponding 1.30 kW configuration provides 160 m³/h with maximum vacuum of -200 mbar and pressure of +195 mbar.
This additional differential-pressure capability makes the blower particularly useful where system resistance, pipework losses or the application itself requires more suction or discharge pressure than the smaller motor configurations can provide.

Becker SV 130/1 1.10 kW Overview
The 1.10 kW SV 130/1 is designed around Becker’s single-stage side channel principle. Air entering the blower is accelerated by the rotating impeller and repeatedly circulated through the side channel, progressively developing a pressure difference between inlet and outlet.
Unlike a positive-displacement vacuum pump, there are no vanes or other compression components rubbing against the chamber during normal operation. The air path therefore remains oil-free, while the non-contact principle contributes to long service intervals and relatively low routine maintenance.
Although its nominal capacity is the same 130 m³/h at 50 Hz as the other SV 130/1 motor versions, the 1.10 kW configuration can reach -210 mbar on vacuum and +210 mbar on pressure. Motor size is therefore an important part of identifying the correct SV 130/1 for an existing installation.
The blower also incorporates inlet and discharge silencing and uses sealed bearings. Its compact horizontal arrangement makes it practical for integration into packaging equipment, printing machinery, handling systems and other industrial equipment where continuous airflow is required.
Vacuum Pumps UK can assist with both existing Becker blower requirements and new applications. If the original duty is known, flow and operating differential can be considered together rather than selecting a blower on nominal capacity alone.
Becker SV 130/1 1.10 kW Technical Specifications
The table below shows the 50 Hz specification and corresponding 60 Hz motor configuration. Vacuum and positive-pressure limits are motor-specific, so the complete electrical and blower details should be confirmed when matching an existing unit.
| Frequency | Nominal Capacity m³/h |
Maximum Vacuum mbar |
Maximum Pressure mbar |
Motor Power kW |
Noise Level dB(A) |
| 50 Hz | 130 | -210 | +210 | 1.10 | 63.4–63.9 |
| 60 Hz | 160 | -200 | +195 | 1.30 | 64.7–64.8 |
Weight: 22.5 kg with motor.
Vacuum and pressure values are relative. Becker’s vacuum and pressure listings publish slightly different noise figures, so the published range is shown.
Becker SV 130/1 1.10 kW Features
Increased Differential Pressure
The 1.10 kW motor allows the SV 130/1 to operate to -210 mbar vacuum or +210 mbar positive pressure at 50 Hz.
Oil-Free Air Path
The blower requires no oil in its compression chamber, avoiding oil contamination of the process airflow.
Non-Contact Operation
Pressure differential is generated aerodynamically rather than by rubbing compression elements, reducing normal internal wear.
Integrated Silencing
Built-in inlet and discharge silencers help reduce blower noise and simplify installation within industrial machinery.
Sealed Bearings
Sealed bearings remove the requirement for routine greasing and support the low-maintenance operating concept.
Vacuum and Blast Air
The blower can provide suction or positive-pressure airflow, making it useful across a wide range of machine functions.
Typical Becker SV 130/1 1.10 kW Applications
The greater differential-pressure capability of the 1.10 kW configuration extends its usefulness where an application requires stronger suction or blast air while retaining the compact 130 m³/h blower platform.
› Vacuum lifting and handling
› Sheet feeding and transport
› Printing and paper machinery
› Packaging equipment
› Vacuum fixing and clamping
› Pneumatic conveying
› Blowing and injecting

Becker SV 130/1 1.10 kW Blower Supply
Vacuum Pumps UK can assist with SV 130/1 1.10 kW blower requirements for production machinery, process equipment and replacement installations.
The basic SV 130/1 model designation alone does not identify the performance of the blower because different motor ratings provide different maximum vacuum and pressure levels. For an existing machine, we therefore recommend providing the motor power and complete nameplate information when requesting a quotation.
For new equipment, our team can discuss the actual duty point, including required airflow and operating differential pressure. This is more useful than simply selecting a blower according to its nominal free-air capacity.

Becker SV Side Channel Blower Accessories
Accessories form an important part of a correctly installed side channel blower system. Filtration protects the air path from contamination, while vacuum and pressure relief devices can help prevent the blower operating beyond the permitted differential pressure of the 1.10 kW configuration.
Inlet Filtration
Suitable inlet filters help prevent dust, fibres and other airborne material entering the blower and building up within the impeller and air passages.
Vacuum Regulation
Vacuum relief valves can admit air when the suction differential becomes too high, helping keep the SV 130/1 within its permitted vacuum range.
Pressure Protection
On pressure applications, a correctly selected relief valve can protect the blower if discharge resistance causes pressure to rise beyond the intended duty.
Pipework Accessories
Non-return valves, flexible connectors, silencers and other connection components can be selected around the requirements of the installation.
Becker SV 130/1 Service, Repair and Spare Parts
Becker SV side channel blowers are designed around a low-maintenance, non-contact compression principle. Nevertheless, an installed SV 130/1 can eventually require attention because of bearing wear, motor faults, contamination, restricted airflow or prolonged operation outside the intended vacuum or pressure range.
Symptoms can include increased noise, vibration, reduced airflow, excessive temperature or difficulty reaching the expected vacuum or positive pressure. Because external filters, pipework restrictions and relief settings can also affect performance, correctly diagnosing the complete installation is important.
Vacuum Pumps UK can assist with inspection, fault diagnosis and workshop repair requirements for Becker side channel blowers. We can also advise where an existing blower needs to be assessed against its original operating duty.

Becker SV 130/1 1.10 kW Frequently Asked Questions
What airflow does the Becker SV 130/1 1.10 kW provide?
Nominal volume flow is 130 m³/h at 50 Hz. The corresponding 1.30 kW 60 Hz configuration provides 160 m³/h.
What is the maximum vacuum?
The 1.10 kW 50 Hz version is rated to -210 mbar relative vacuum. At 60 Hz the maximum is -200 mbar.
What is the maximum positive pressure?
Maximum pressure is +210 mbar relative at 50 Hz and +195 mbar at 60 Hz.
Why does motor power matter if the airflow is still 130 m³/h?
The different SV 130/1 motor configurations share the same nominal 50 Hz volume flow, but the permitted vacuum and pressure differential changes substantially with motor size.
Is the SV 130/1 suitable for vacuum and pressure duties?
Yes. Side channel blowers can provide suction or positive-pressure airflow, provided the installation and operating point remain within the blower’s specified limits.
Does the blower use oil?
No oil is required within the compression chamber, so the process airflow remains oil-free.
Can VPUK identify an existing Becker SV blower?
Yes. Send us a photograph of the blower and motor nameplate. The motor rating is particularly useful when distinguishing between SV 130/1 configurations.
Can you repair Becker SV side channel blowers?
