Becker SV 200/1 1.10 kW Side Channel Blower
The Becker SV 200/1 1.10 kW is a single-stage side channel blower providing 180 m³/h of oil-free airflow at 50 Hz for industrial vacuum and positive-pressure applications.
With maximum operating limits of -150 mbar relative vacuum and +145 mbar positive pressure, this configuration is particularly suited to applications that need a relatively high continuous airflow without a large pressure differential.
At 60 Hz the corresponding 1.30 kW motor increases nominal capacity to 230 m³/h. The blower uses a contact-free impeller and side channel rather than rubbing compression elements, helping provide dependable continuous operation with low routine maintenance requirements.

Becker SV 200/1 1.10 kW Product Overview
The Becker SV 200/1 is a turbo-dynamic blower designed to generate either suction vacuum at the inlet or positive-pressure air from the discharge. In the 1.10 kW configuration it combines a nominal 180 m³/h airflow with moderate differential-pressure capability, making it well suited to machine functions where moving a continuous volume of air is more important than producing deep vacuum.
Inside the blower, a rapidly rotating impeller accelerates the incoming air through the side channel. Pressure builds progressively as the air passes around the blower housing before leaving through the discharge connection. Because the impeller operates without rubbing against the compression chamber, there are no carbon vanes or other contacting compression elements to replace.
The compression process is also completely dry. No lubricating oil is introduced into the air path, which is advantageous on packaging, printing, handling and process machinery where clean airflow is required.
Integrated inlet and discharge silencers help control operating noise, while sealed bearings eliminate routine greasing. The blower is mounted horizontally on a pedestal with vibration isolation, providing a compact arrangement for integration into production machinery and engineered systems.
For replacement applications, the complete motor information is important because another SV 200/1 may have the same nominal airflow but a different motor and therefore a different maximum vacuum or pressure capability.
SV 200/1 1.10 kW Technical Specifications
The figures below show the performance of this specific motor configuration at both standard electrical frequencies. Maximum vacuum and pressure are relative values rather than absolute pressure.
| Frequency | Capacity | Max Vacuum | Max Pressure | Motor |
| 50 Hz | 180 m³/h | -150 mbar | +145 mbar | 1.10 kW |
| 60 Hz | 230 m³/h | -140 mbar | +130 mbar | 1.30 kW |
Weight: 25.5 kg including motor.
50 Hz noise level: Becker publishes 63.9 dB(A) for vacuum operation and 64.6 dB(A) on its pressure specification.
Key Features of the SV 200/1
180 m³/h Airflow
Provides a useful volume of continuous airflow for handling, conveying and machine vacuum duties.
Oil-Free Operation
No lubricating oil is required in the compression chamber, keeping the process air free from pump oil.
Contact-Free Compression
The impeller does not contact the blower housing during normal operation, reducing mechanical wear within the compression process.
Suction or Blast Air
Can be incorporated into systems requiring either vacuum at the inlet or positive pressure from the discharge.
Integrated Silencing
Inlet and discharge silencers are built into the blower design to help control operating noise.
Low Routine Maintenance
Sealed bearings eliminate routine greasing and the side channel principle avoids wearing compression vanes.
Where is the Becker SV 200/1 Used?
The SV 200/1 1.10 kW is particularly appropriate where machinery needs continuous airflow with moderate suction or pressure. Typical duties include moving, holding, separating, cooling or conveying products and materials.
› Printing press sheet handling
› Paper feeding and separation
› Packaging machinery
› Pick-and-place equipment
› Vacuum holding
› Light pneumatic conveying
› Drying and cooling
› Blowing and air knives
› Process aeration
› General OEM machinery
Becker SV 200/1 1.10 kW Blower Supply
Vacuum Pumps UK can assist with Becker SV 200/1 requirements for replacement equipment, production machinery and new installations.
If you are replacing an existing blower, send us the complete model, motor rating, voltage and frequency. A photograph of the blower and motor nameplates is particularly useful because the SV 200/1 is available in more than one motor configuration.
For a new installation, provide the required airflow and the normal operating vacuum or positive pressure together with details of the application. We can then consider the actual duty point rather than selecting solely from the maximum figures.
Accessories for Becker SV 200/1 Blowers
A correctly designed blower installation needs more than the blower itself. Filtration, relief protection and suitable pipework components can improve reliability and help keep the SV 200/1 within its intended operating range.
Inlet Filtration
Filters help prevent dust and airborne contamination entering the impeller and side channel.
Vacuum Relief
A correctly selected valve can admit air if suction differential rises beyond the intended operating level.
Pressure Relief
Pressure relief protection can safeguard the blower against excessive discharge resistance.
Connection Equipment
Flexible connectors, non-return valves, silencers and other components can be selected around the installation.
Becker SV 200/1 Service, Repair and Spare Parts
Although the SV 200/1 has a contact-free compression system, an installed blower can still develop problems through bearing wear, motor faults, contamination or unsuitable operating conditions.
Reduced airflow may also originate outside the blower. Dirty filters, leaking vacuum lines, blocked pipework and incorrectly adjusted relief valves can all alter system performance. Assessing the complete installation can therefore prevent unnecessary replacement of an otherwise serviceable blower.
Vacuum Pumps UK can assist with fault diagnosis, inspection, servicing and workshop repair of Becker side channel blowers.
Blower Service
Technical support and investigation of performance, contamination, noise and maintenance requirements.
Blower Repair
Workshop assessment of Becker blowers suffering from bearing, motor, vibration or performance problems.
Spare Parts
Filters and spare parts for Becker vacuum pumps and blowers are available through our sister company VacAir Superstore.
Becker SV 200/1 1.10 kW FAQs
What is the capacity of the Becker SV 200/1 1.10 kW?
Nominal volume flow is 180 m³/h at 50 Hz and 230 m³/h with the corresponding 1.30 kW motor at 60 Hz.
What vacuum can the SV 200/1 1.10 kW achieve?
Maximum relative vacuum is -150 mbar at 50 Hz and -140 mbar at 60 Hz.
Can it also be used as a pressure blower?
Yes. Maximum positive pressure is +145 mbar at 50 Hz and +130 mbar at 60 Hz.
Is the SV 200/1 oil-free?
Yes. The side channel compression chamber operates without lubricating oil.
Does an SV 200/1 contain carbon vanes?
