Becker SV 201/1 1.10 kW Side Channel Blower
The Becker SV 201/1 1.10 kW is a compact single-stage side channel blower designed for machinery requiring a generous volume of oil-free airflow without a high vacuum or pressure differential.
At 50 Hz it provides 190 m³/h, with a maximum relative vacuum of -140 mbar and maximum positive pressure of +135 mbar. At 60 Hz, the corresponding 1.30 kW motor increases nominal flow to 230 m³/h, with maximum vacuum of -125 mbar and pressure of +120 mbar.
This combination makes the 1.10 kW SV 201/1 particularly suitable for applications such as sheet handling, cooling, drying, light conveying and general machine air where airflow volume is the dominant requirement.

Becker SV 201/1 1.10 kW Product Overview
The SV 201/1 is a turbo-dynamic side channel blower. Rather than trapping and mechanically compressing air, the impeller repeatedly accelerates the air as it travels around the annular side channel. The resulting energy increase creates the pressure differential required for vacuum or positive-pressure operation.
Because the impeller operates without rubbing against the surrounding compression chamber, the blower has no sliding vanes or other contacting compression elements. No lubricating oil is required in the air chamber, so the process airflow remains oil-free.
In the 1.10 kW configuration, the SV 201/1 is focused more towards airflow than high differential pressure. Its 190 m³/h nominal 50 Hz capacity makes it useful for machines where a continuous volume of air is needed for movement, separation, cooling or light vacuum duties.
Integrated inlet and discharge silencers help control operating noise, while sealed bearings remove the need for routine bearing greasing. Becker also uses a pedestal with vibration isolation for horizontal installation, helping the blower integrate neatly into industrial machinery.
For replacement purposes, it is important to establish the motor rating as well as the SV 201/1 model designation. The same blower family is available with larger motors that provide substantially different vacuum and pressure limits.
Becker SV 201/1 1.10 kW Technical Specifications
The 50 Hz and 60 Hz specifications differ in airflow, differential pressure and motor power. When matching an existing blower, always check the supply frequency and complete motor nameplate.
| Frequency | Nominal Capacity m³/h |
Maximum Vacuum mbar |
Maximum Pressure mbar |
Motor Power kW |
Noise Level dB(A) |
| 50 Hz | 190 | -140 | +135 | 1.10 | 63.9–65.2 |
| 60 Hz | 230 | -125 | +120 | 1.30 | 68.0–68.3 |
Weight: 25.5 kg including motor.
Vacuum and pressure figures are relative. Becker’s vacuum and pressure product listings publish slightly different noise figures, so the published range is shown.
Key Features of the SV 201/1 1.10 kW
High Airflow for its Motor Size
Provides 190 m³/h at 50 Hz, making this version particularly useful where continuous airflow is more important than deep vacuum or high pressure.
Dry, Oil-Free Compression
The blower operates without lubricating oil in the compression chamber, helping keep process air clean.
No Contacting Vanes
Air is moved by the rotating impeller rather than sliding vanes, reducing routine wear within the compression process.
Integrated Silencers
Inlet and discharge silencers are incorporated into the blower, helping control noise and simplify installation.
Sealed Bearings
Sealed bearing construction eliminates routine bearing greasing and supports the low-maintenance design.
Compact Machine Installation
Horizontal pedestal mounting with vibration isolation makes the SV 201/1 straightforward to integrate into production and OEM machinery.
Typical Applications for the Becker SV 201/1 1.10 kW
The 1.10 kW version is particularly suited to processes requiring steady airflow with relatively modest system resistance. It can be used on either the suction or discharge side depending on the machinery design.
› Printing press sheet transport
› Paper feeding and separation
› Packaging and automation machinery
› Light vacuum holding
› Component handling systems
› Cooling air
› Drying processes
› Light pneumatic conveying
› Aeration
› General industrial machinery
Becker SV 201/1 1.10 kW Blower Supply
Vacuum Pumps UK can assist with the supply of Becker SV 201/1 1.10 kW blowers for existing machinery, maintenance requirements and new industrial applications.
If you are replacing an installed blower, provide the complete Becker model number, motor power, voltage and frequency. A clear photograph of the blower and motor nameplates is particularly useful because several motor ratings are used within the SV 201/1 family.
For a new application, tell us the required airflow, normal vacuum or positive pressure and how the blower is being used. Our team can then consider the actual operating duty rather than selecting solely from nominal capacity.
Send us your Becker SV 201/1 requirement for technical assistance, price and availability.
Becker SV 201/1 Blower Accessories
Correctly selected accessories can protect the blower, maintain clean airflow and help control the vacuum or positive-pressure differential imposed by the connected system. The installation should be considered as a complete airflow circuit rather than the blower in isolation.
Inlet Filters
Filter housings and replacement elements help prevent dust, fibres and other airborne contaminants entering the impeller and side channel.
Vacuum Relief Valves
A vacuum relief valve can admit additional air if suction resistance rises, helping keep the blower within its intended vacuum limit.
Pressure Relief Valves
For discharge-air applications, pressure relief protects the blower against excessive back pressure caused by restrictions or process changes.
Installation Accessories
Flexible connectors, non-return valves, pipework fittings and additional silencers can be selected to suit the individual machine installation.
Becker SV 201/1 Service, Repair and Spare Parts
The contact-free side channel operating principle gives the SV 201/1 relatively low routine maintenance requirements, but an installed blower can still develop problems through bearing wear, motor faults, contamination or unsuitable system conditions.
A reduction in airflow, increased noise, vibration or higher operating temperature should be investigated. External issues such as blocked filters, damaged pipework or incorrectly adjusted relief valves can also affect blower performance and should be considered as part of diagnosis.
Vacuum Pumps UK can assist with inspection, fault finding, servicing and workshop repair of Becker side channel blowers.
Blower Service
Technical support for installed Becker SV blowers, including help with maintenance, performance changes and operating-condition problems.
Blower Repair
Workshop assessment of noisy, damaged or poorly performing units, including investigation of bearing, motor and airflow-related faults.
Spare Parts
Replacement filters and spare parts for Becker vacuum pumps and side channel blowers are available through our sister company VacAir Superstore.
