Pump Systems
Nominal capacity:
310 – 750 m3/h

The DVP CPAP Series offers high-efficiency centralised vacuum pump systems engineered in Duplex (2x) and Triplex (3x) configurations. Powered by DVP PA 155 and PA 315 dry-running claw pumps, CPAP systems deliver demand-driven, 100% oil-free vacuum performance with maximum energy savings.

Designed to create and maintain precise, continuous vacuum across central pipework networks, CPAP systems utilize intelligent control panels to automatically stage individual claw pumps on and off based on real-time process demand. Built on compact vertical frames, each unit features FCM intake cartridge filters, individual pump isolation ball valves, an integrated electrical control panel (400V 50/60Hz), and adjustable shock mounts.

Delivering nominal capacities from 310 to 750 m³/h (182.6 to 441.8 CFM), DVP CPAP systems provide redundant, ultra-reliable vacuum for industrial processing, automated packaging, central woodworking systems, and medical/surgical gas evacuation networks.

DVP CPAP System Architecture & Efficiency

Centralised vacuum installations in manufacturing plants, processing facilities, and hospitals frequently experience fluctuating demand throughout the working day. Operating single large vacuum pumps continuously leads to wasted electricity, excessive heat generation, and high wear. DVP CPAP Centralised Vacuum Systems solve this challenge through intelligent, multi-pump staging.

Every CPAP system is built around two (Duplex) or three (Triplex) heavy-duty DVP PA series dry claw vacuum pumps (PA 155 or PA 315) mounted onto a space-saving vertical steel framework. An integrated electric control panel monitors system vacuum in real time. As connected machinery or processes demand more airflow, the control panel automatically powers up additional claw pumps. When demand drops, idle pumps are automatically shut down, ensuring energy consumption matches exact operational requirements.

Because each individual pump is fitted with its own intake isolation ball valve and high-efficiency FCM cartridge filter, routine maintenance or servicing can be performed on individual pumps without interrupting vacuum supply to the rest of the facility. Rubber anti-vibration shock mounts level the vertical assembly and isolate structural vibration.

Why Install a DVP CPAP Centralised Vacuum Station?

Decentralised standalone pumps located at every machine consume valuable floor space, create localised heat and noise, and demand separate electrical drop lines and maintenance schedules. Standardising on a centralised DVP CPAP vacuum system consolidates equipment into a single utility room while lowering overall electrical demands by up to 40%.

By utilising dry claw technology (PA series), the CPAP range eliminates oil contamination risks in the process exhaust while maintaining constant volumetric performance. The non-contact rotor design eliminates internal friction wear, ensuring long service intervals and minimal cost of ownership.

Vacuum Pumps UK provides technical support, system calculation assistance, genuine DVP replacement parts, intake filters, and full installation advice across the UK and Ireland.

DVP CPAP Systems Frequently Asked Questions

What is a CPAP centralised vacuum pump system?

A DVP CPAP system is a skid-mounted vacuum station featuring two (Duplex) or three (Triplex) dry claw vacuum pumps connected to a central electrical control panel. It maintains vacuum across a centralised pipe network by starting or stopping individual pumps automatically as process demand changes.

How does a centralised vacuum system save energy?

Instead of running large single pumps continuously at full electrical power, a CPAP system automatically stages individual claw pumps on or off based on line pressure. During periods of lower demand, extra pumps shut down, lowering kilowatt consumption significantly.

What models are available in the CPAP series?

The range includes CPAP 2×155 (310 m³/h), CPAP 2×315 (500 m³/h), CPAP 3×155 (465 m³/h), and CPAP 3×315 (750 m³/h).

Can individual pumps be isolated for servicing while the system runs?

Yes. Every claw pump on a CPAP frame features an individual inlet ball valve. Closing the ball valve isolates that specific pump for routine maintenance or filter changes without interrupting vacuum to the main facility line.

Are DVP CPAP centralised systems suitable for medical vacuum?

Yes. CPAP systems are widely used in medical vacuum systems, dental clinics, and anesthetic gas evacuation networks due to their dry, oil-free operation, redundancy, and staged control panel reliability.

What intake filtration is included on CPAP systems?

Each pump is equipped with an FCM intake cartridge filter designed to trap dust and foreign particulates before air enters the claw rotation chamber.

What electrical supply is required for DVP CPAP systems?

Standard CPAP control panels are configured for 400V 50-60Hz 3-phase power supplies, managing pump staging and motor protection.

Who services DVP CPAP systems in the UK?
