Key MD 10 Features

Continuous Duty

Oil lubricated rotary vane technology allows the MD 10 to operate continuously with stable vacuum performance.

Efficient Oil Separation

The oil separation system helps minimise oil vapour emissions and supports cleaner operation when the pump is correctly maintained.

Improved Service Access

The updated design improves internal accessibility, making routine maintenance and cleaning faster and easier.

Flexible Configuration

Multiple configuration options are available to suit specific application requirements, including oil filling and draining positions.

Repair or Replace Your Existing Pump?

Replacement is not always the only answer. If your existing vacuum pump is in reasonable condition, a service or repair may be more economical.

Replacement may make more sense if the pump is badly worn, repeatedly failing, using excessive oil, running hot, becoming noisy, or if parts are becoming difficult to obtain.

We can help compare the options and advise whether your best route is repair, refurbishment, a direct replacement, or a DVP alternative.

Replacement Pump Guide

Replacing a Small Oil Lubricated Pump?

If your existing oil lubricated vacuum pump has become noisy, unreliable, is losing vacuum or is no longer economical to repair, the DVP MD 10 may be a suitable replacement option.

Replacing a Pump on Packaging Machinery?

The MD 10 can be considered for vacuum packaging machines, tray sealers, automatic packaging machines and other food packaging equipment where the duty and installation details are suitable.

Replacing an OEM Machine Pump?

For OEM equipment and on-board machine integration, we can review the existing pump, duty cycle and installation requirements before recommending whether the MD 10 is suitable.

Replacing Another Make?

Send us the pump make, model number or a photograph of the nameplate and we will advise the nearest suitable DVP option. DVP pumps are well-regarded alternatives to brands such as Busch, Becker, Elmo Rietschle and Leybold.

Not Sure Which Pump You Need?

Do not worry if your existing vacuum pump is not listed above. Vacuum Pumps UK regularly helps customers replace vacuum pumps from many different manufacturers, including older and obsolete models.

If your current pump is becoming unreliable, losing vacuum, producing excessive exhaust mist, becoming expensive to repair or parts are becoming difficult to obtain, the DVP MD 10 may provide a practical replacement.

Send us the pump nameplate and we will identify it for you.
