DVP Vacuum Technology
Vacuum Pumps UK is the official DVP Technology Master Agent for the UK and Ireland, supplying DVP vacuum pumps, compressors, blowers, central vacuum systems, genuine spare parts and specialist technical support.
DVP combines more than 50 years of vacuum engineering experience with modern Italian manufacturing, precision CNC machining, automated production technology and continuing investment in product research and development.

DVP Vacuum Technology specialises in the design and manufacture of industrial vacuum pumps, compressors, blowers and complete vacuum systems. From its headquarters and manufacturing facilities near Bologna in Italy, DVP supplies equipment to machine manufacturers, distributors and industrial users around the world.
The DVP product range extends from compact pumps for individual machines through to high-capacity vacuum pumps and central vacuum systems serving complete production facilities. Available technologies include oil-lubricated rotary vane, dry-running rotary vane, dry claw, rotary piston, side channel, lobe and high-vacuum pumps.
This broad manufacturing capability allows the vacuum source to be selected around the actual application. Factors such as pumping speed, operating vacuum, contamination, process temperature, duty cycle, energy consumption and maintenance requirements can all be considered before a pump technology is recommended.
DVP is focused specifically on vacuum and low-pressure technology, with product development, engineering, manufacturing and application support centred around industrial vacuum equipment.
DVP brings component manufacture, assembly, testing and product engineering together within its Italian production facilities, providing close control over the finished equipment.
A wide range of pump technologies enables DVP to support clean, contaminated, high-flow, deep-vacuum, continuous-duty and centralised industrial applications.
DVP products are supported through international subsidiaries, distributors and trained technical partners, including Vacuum Pumps UK throughout the UK and Ireland.

The performance of a vacuum pump depends heavily on the dimensional accuracy and surface finish of its internal components. Clearances must be carefully controlled so that the pump can achieve its intended vacuum level, pumping speed, efficiency and operating life.
DVP uses modern CNC-controlled production machinery to manufacture critical components with consistent dimensions and repeatable quality. Precision machining also allows production methods to be developed around the particular requirements of each pump design.
✓ Precision machining of critical internal components
✓ Carefully controlled tolerances and surface finishes
✓ Repeatable manufacture across established product ranges
✓ Production processes developed specifically for vacuum equipment
DVP continues to invest in automated production machinery and robotic manufacturing processes where these can improve consistency, repeatability and production control.
Automation is used alongside experienced technicians, assembly personnel and vacuum engineers. Repetitive production operations can be completed under controlled conditions, while skilled personnel remain responsible for assembly, inspection, testing and technical decision-making.
This combination of advanced machinery and specialist vacuum knowledge enables DVP to manufacture equipment for compact OEM installations, individual production machines and large industrial vacuum systems.

Research and Development
DVP’s manufacturing capability is supported by DVP LAB, its specialist research and development facility for vacuum technology.
Research and development work includes new pump designs, components, materials, accessories and control solutions. Development is influenced by the practical requirements of machine manufacturers, distributors and industrial users.
The close relationship between research, manufacturing and real-world applications allows DVP to improve existing products and develop new vacuum solutions for changing industrial requirements.
Product Development
New and existing products are developed around genuine operating requirements, installation constraints and industrial performance expectations.
Application Engineering
Vacuum pumps and systems can be configured for particular machines, processes, OEM installations and central vacuum requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Research and testing support continuing improvements in performance, efficiency, integration, reliability and ease of maintenance.
DVP brings together precision component manufacture, controlled assembly, inspection and performance verification to maintain consistent product quality.
Managed production processes help maintain consistency from component manufacture through to the final assembly of the pump or system.
Completed products are checked against the relevant operating and performance requirements before leaving the manufacturing facility.
A certified quality-management system supports a structured and continually reviewed approach to manufacturing, inspection and product quality.
DVP genuine vanes, oils, filters, separators, gaskets and service components are developed for use with the corresponding pump ranges.
Vacuum Pumps UK has worked with DVP Technology for more than 25 years and provides specialist pump selection, application advice, technical support, spare parts, servicing and repairs throughout the UK and Ireland.
Our engineers are trained by DVP, and our Leeds workshop is authorised to investigate qualifying DVP warranty claims on behalf of the manufacturer. This enables pumps supplied through Vacuum Pumps UK to be assessed and repaired in the UK rather than automatically being returned to Italy.

The tables below provide a convenient technical reference for the DVP vacuum pump, compressor and blower range. They are particularly useful when identifying an existing DVP model, comparing nominal pumping capacities or checking vacuum levels and motor sizes.
For a new installation or application, we recommend browsing the DVP pump technology options above first. Each section explains the operating principle, typical applications and advantages of the different pump types, helping you select the most suitable technology before comparing individual models.
Use the pump range section above to compare oil-lubricated rotary vane, dry-running rotary vane, claw, piston, side-channel and high-vacuum technologies. The tables below are best used once you have identified the appropriate pump type or already know the DVP model you require.
